Yesterday, I found out from my FEM that a small group (4 people) of customers tried to buy a whole bunch of gift cards the other night when I wasn't working. They tried to pay with a credit card but the checker didn't ask for ID since he didn't know that he was supposed to.
The office employee came across the transaction and got suspicious. The FEM mentioned that the customers might try to come in and say they weren't activated even though they were.
The gift cards were done on 2 separate transactions since there's a limit on how many gifts cards you can put on 1 transaction. There was a problem with the credit card suspicion-wise and the customers left with the gift cards.
