SC: (still yelling) I want this man fired he told me this game would be ok for my child and it most certainly is not!
Ah, yes. The ploy to act so outraged that you can demand something drastic like a firing in order to get the manager to placate you by giving you the refund or discount or free stuff you REALLY wanted to begin with.

    You rock, Cyphr!

Me: she'll be back so i'm gonna hang out in the corner and watch *flips on his Gameboy and plays some zelda for the next hour*

      SC type returns furious
Incredible odds and luck that she returned within the hour while you were still there. Depending on how long it took her to get home and start up the game, and then return to the store, it could well have ended up being the next day or a lot later that day, or she might have been one of those irresponsible types who simply didn't care about the violence and didn't bother to return it.

Good instincts, apparently, and amazing that you were able to read the situaton so well. I guess there are times when you "just know" and your intuition kicks in.
Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.

Good job! More SCs like that deserve to be shut down.

You are a true hero. It's rare that you get the opportunity to step up and defends someone who needs the help. It's rarer still when you have the clarity of thought and bravery to actually step up.

            *an hour latter*
she let her five yearold, thats 1+1+1+1+1, go up and pick a game, and tossed it on the counter with out even looking. Of course Mother of the yearis going to plop Jr infront of the electric nanny and ignore him until she hears the screams of dying men snap her out of her funk

It's always so awesome to see a retail worker become a customer because then we can say whatever we want to SCs while being a customer ourselves.

Well done!! I'm glad she came back while you were still there. What an idiot, trying to get someone fired over her own stupidity. Reminds me of Vinigar Boy...

                  P.S. Yay to you!!!
It's been a long, long, long, long time...

Oddly enough Ree, I thought the same thing, and a certain thread in OT kept coming to mind, (esp your posts in said thread)...
