Just thought of something that irks me. People ask our hours all the time.
We're open six days a week - every day but Monday.
And when asked, that's what I say: we're open every day of the week except Monday.
Here's a conversation I typically have 6 or 7 times a week:
me: we're open every day except Monday. (let's assume it's a Friday)
SC: I'll try to bring my computer in tomorrow. If I can't make it, I'll be here Tuesday.
me: you won't be around on Sunday?
SC: Oh - you're open Sunday?
me: (for the thousandth time) yes - we're open every day of the week except Monday.
sigh. sometimes I think we should just close Sundays, too (it would be nice to have 2 days off instead of 1 - one of the downsides of owning your own business) but you know if we did, people would complain: "oh - I thought you were open Sundays."
