Quoth draftermatt View PostTrue, (that's where I was kind of going with belligerent, as you've gone so far that you're doing that kind of thing) but as far as picketing is concerned could you legally kick someone out for picketing since it is a legal (in the US anyway) form of protest?Aerodynamics are for people who can't build engines. --Enzo Ferrari

Quoth protege View PostIt depends on where they do it. If it's on store (i.e. *private*) property, like their parking lot or sidewalk, you can call the cops and have them charged with trespassing or *forcefully* removed. However, if it's in a public area, like across the street...there's not really much that can be done."I'm still walking, so I'm sure that I can dance!" from Saint of Circumstance - Grateful Dead

Quoth blas87 View PostIt's no one's fault that she kept returning. How many countless stories do we have on this site of customers who have been kicked out, even banned from returning, and yet, some of them still won't give up?Knowledge is power. Power corrupts. Study hard. Be evil.

Quoth Irving Patrick Freleigh View PostBans are only effective if they can be enforced, and that's often easier said than done, unless every single employee and manager in the store knows what the person looks like and knows what to do if they see them in the store.

By any chance, does this woman have a job or a family that can occupy her time, rather than visiting your store so frequently? With what I've read, it sounds like this is her favorite hobby, harrassing you and your co-workers over things that are really not so trivial considering the hard economic times we're living in now.

Quoth purplecat41877 View PostThat's possible if the store has a camera that can develop pictures right away like Polaroid or digital. That way, the picture of the banned customer can be posted in the employee breakroom along with a post-it under the photo that says why the customer was banned.

You know, I have some of those 10 dollar blinds she's talking about. They are in my garage right now gathering dust. This is because they look cheap and tacky.
which is why they cost $30. And not $10.
