True, (that's where I was kind of going with belligerent, as you've gone so far that you're doing that kind of thing) but as far as picketing is concerned could you legally kick someone out for picketing since it is a legal (in the US anyway) form of protest?
It depends on where they do it. If it's on store (i.e. *private*) property, like their parking lot or sidewalk, you can call the cops and have them charged with trespassing or *forcefully* removed. However, if it's in a public area, like across the street...there's not really much that can be done.

Yeah, I think that is correct....but some places I do believe require people to obtain permits for using public space...I could be wrong. I think if she had some sort of "gathering" she would need a permit.

All she's doing is ranting and making herself look even crazier than her rainbow knit hat did.
When people post about crazies here, I like to get mental imagery of what the crazy in the post looks like - adding a rainbow knit hat to the image I already had was giggly goodness!

It's no one's fault that she kept returning. How many countless stories do we have on this site of customers who have been kicked out, even banned from returning, and yet, some of them still won't give up?
Bans are only effective if they can be enforced, and that's often easier said than done, unless every single employee and manager in the store knows what the person looks like and knows what to do if they see them in the store.

That's possible if the store has a camera that can develop pictures right away like Polaroid or digital. That way, the picture of the banned customer can be posted in the employee breakroom along with a post-it under the photo that says why the customer was banned.

Also you'd have to figure just giving everyone a heads up about the nutter in a rainbow knit hat would be enough.

You know, I have some of those 10 dollar blinds she's talking about. They are in my garage right now gathering dust. This is because they look cheap and tacky.

By any chance, does this woman have a job or a family that can occupy her time, rather than visiting your store so frequently? With what I've read, it sounds like this is her favorite hobby, harrassing you and your co-workers over things that are really not so trivial considering the hard economic times we're living in now.

You also have to have employees willing to enforce the ban, you'd be amazed at the number of my collegues who would never escort someone from the store.

And even then, they may still try to sneak back in. I saw this one guy get kicked out of a bar, and then walk right back in like nothing happened. There was a bouncer that night, and he chased him back out right away, but he kept trying to sneak back in anyway. After he realized he couldn't sneak back in, they found him loitering in the parking lot, and had to get the police to remove him.

The 30 dollar ones we sell are nice, actually, we get a lot of feedback on how popular they are because they look like the real thing...

which is why they cost $30. And not $10.
