...I'd hire you and put you in customer service so you'd feel my pain.
This SC calls me on the phone...
SC: Hi, I was wondering if you were hiring.
Me: Personally, I'm not sure. Let me find you a manager.
SC: I don't have time to be put on hold! Tell me if you're hiring!
Me: Well, ma'am, personally, I am not in charge of hiring, but I can tell you I've seen quite a few new people around here recently, so my opinion is that putting in an application now would probably be a pretty good idea.
SC: I don't WANT your OPINION. I WANT TO KNOW!
Me: Then let me get a manager for you.
SC: I DON'T WANT *click for hold*
I called up the office and told the MOD what happened. She couldn't stop laughing and asked me to listen in on the call...
MOD: Can I help you?
SC: I want to KNOW if you're hiring! That GIRL would not tell me! I TOLD HER NOT TO PUT ME ON HOLD!
MOD: Yes, she was correct to, she does not have hiring information available to her, which is why she put you on hold to transfer you to me. What was your name again?
SC: *name*
MOD: And what position were you looking for?
SC: Supervisor or management.
MOD: Well, Ms. *name*, I am sorry, but those positions are not available to entry level. We only promote from within. Normally, people start packing on our front end, then work their way up.
SC: So I'd have to be a BAGGER?
MOD: ...Ma'am, I also recommend to you in the future, when calling a place of employment to inquire about a position not to be so harsh to the employees there, as personally, with your attitude towards our open positions, let alone my employee, I see you do not reflect supervisor or management material, let alone *our company* standards.

I want to hug my manager.
