I live near a reservation, it's between 1.40-1.45 on the Res. and about 1.80-ish off th Res. Unfortunately western New York is still higher than the national average for gas.

Actually, according to Google current rate euro vs USD the price per gallon would be $5.75/gallon. If a gallon is 3,785 litres. So, sucks to be in Finland.

I'd LOVE to pay what you folks are paying. Here in BC I'm paying the equivalent (after conversions of liters to gallons, and CDN to US currency) $5.79/gallon. It hurts!

Hell, I pay less for a round trip to and from work than you do per gallon. ><

I refuse to own a vehicle in Vancouver. I don't even have a license. Because as soon as I moved here I just affixed myself to the transit system and have likely saved myself immense amounts of cash day in and day out because of it.

I probably should get around to getting my driver's licence - simply so that I have the *option* of driving if I need it. So far I've managed without, but there have been times when it would have been useful.

Here in Hawaii its $2.37 a gallon... and the price has dropped considerably.
