    I work @ a hotel. One of our big rules is when you lose a room key, we have to get I.D. from you. Just a fact of life. When I ask for it, please to not be using excuses for not showing it. And after you do finally show it please do not complain to your friends about me two seperate times where I can hear you. K, thanks!

    P.S. Please stop glaring at me every time you have to interact with me. Stop rolling your eyes when I inform you of sales tax on your purchases, k?

    variation on that... don't complain when I tell you that you either need ALL the keys for that room remade or have me make your new key valid for only a single open...
    I get that a lot... "we have 3 keys and I only lost the one, do I really need all of them repgrammed"
    why yes, yes you do... once a key is reported lost we have to block all the keys with that programming out of the system in case it's found by the wrong person... oh yeah, that would include the other keys we made when you checked in.

      that's cos... if you DON'T do it then some jerk can find the lost key and use it to break into the room. and you don't want to be liable for any damages of that nature.

        Yes, I told her that someone could break into her room but apparently she didn't care about that. She was abnormally pissed I asked for I.D.
