We have a new mobile phone credit machine! Actually it's an old EFTPOS terminal with new software. Either way, we can sell prepaid phone credit vouchers again.
So today, this SC wanted a $30 phone voucher. It took a few minutes to print it out (first time I've used the new system).
Me: "So that's $30 for the voucher..."
SC: "And fuel on pump 11."
Me: "OK pump 11, $70..."
SC: "Here's $100."
Me: "OK $100 total, you gave me $100 so here's the phone credit and your receipt."
SC: "And the change? You owe me $30 change!"
Me: "No, it was $100 even and you gave me $100."
SC: "No there was the voucher and petrol $70 so you owe me $30."
Me: (points to receipt) "$70 petrol plus $30 phone credit it $100."
SC: "Fine!" (stomps out)
You can usually spot a scammer by the way they get shitty when they don't get their way.
