This all reminds me of the routine by Ron White:

    RW - "I'd like to leave a wake-up call for 7 O'Clock"

Desk Clerk - "Mr. White, it's PAST 7."

RW - "No, the NEXT one. You got another one comin' around, don'tcha? Why don't you put me down for THAT one."
"All I've ever learned from love was how to shoot somebody who out-drew ya"

I'm pretty sure the Tardis beats the entire Stargate network.
That right there just makes my day. May I steal it?

I had something like that this morning

Helpdesk: I have a client who wants to change the start time of a booking
Me: Sure, what's the job number?
        HD: 12345
Me: (Looks the job up, sees it's a job for yesterday, think I must has misheard) Is 12345 right?
        HD: Yup
Me: That's a job from yesterday
HD: yeah, they want to move the start time
Me: But it's a job that happend yesterday
HD: That's fine, they just want to start earlier
Me: But the job has happend, it was YESTERDAY
        HD: You sure?
Me: yes, the job was for 27th August. Today is the 28th.
HD: Oh. So they might need to make a new booking then?
        Me: Yes.

Sigh. Sad thing is their systen they used to look up my job number had the date as well. It was right in front of them and they still didn't get it!

and I'm actually geeky enough to have a key to the tardis
Honestly.... the image of that in my head made me go "AWESOME!"..... and then I remembered I am terribly strange.-Red dazes

had that at work once, maybe 10 years ago.

we were filling out some paperwork that required time zone data - like +10 or -10 on it and one of the guys (R) had accidentally put a the wrong symbol down.

The boss wrote on it: R you psycho! This isn't the Starship Enterprise!

had me cracking up for a while.
