woman requests an obituary by our email service. We email her back with the info that we found it, it will be $3. Pay by cc, mo or ck.
She then emails a second request without paying for the first request, which is ok. The person who makes responses wrote a instructions for our end:
Ms. Dumbo is requesting an additional obit. She will pay for the current one and the new at the same. I have let he know that both obits will be released once we receive payment. See message directly below for new obit information.
I'm assuming that the email sent to the patron was "Hi, we understand you want to send payment for both at once. We will send you both articles then when we receive payment for both."
Anyway, she calls, one is done not both. She said she wants to pay for both. I tell her we don't have the price for the other one. She said it should be $3, since the first one was $3. I said we don't know how much the second one will be, since the price depends on how long the art. was. She said that she wasn't given a price for the second one, which I replied it was because it wasn't done yet. So she wants me to take the cc info to pay for both. I tell her that that means we have to hold on to the credit card info, which we are reluctant to do. She goes on again about how she wasn't given the price for the second one, she wsn't going to call back. Then she says that we should have included the name of the person who did the request, so we can keep track of it. I tell her we don't do that so that requests won't be made to one person.
So anyway, I get her info. and she tells me I'm argumentative.
Besides, we do initial our work, just not so the patron would see it.
