I had a Costco membership back when I didn't have medical insurance. The $10-$20 savings on my bottles of insulin more than made up for the price of the membership. When you're paying $70 a bottle that lasts 2 weeks, you look for every saving option.

You do NOT need to have a membership to use the pharmacy. My parents use the Costco pharmacy almost exclusively, and they do not have a membership.
