Hysterical woman at the library.

One of our rules is you can't bring in luggage that's more than two feet in length or height.

So woman comes in the door and the security guard won't let her in since she has a big luggage. So she starts getting hysterical, yelling out she wasn't a terrorist, she was going to call the mayor, scream scream scream.

I could hear her but I couldn't see what was going on, and a coworker filled in latter.

Anyway, they let her in (I don't know if it was a manager or the guards) to use the phone and she calls the cops to report us for not letting her in

She left in 20 min. The guards had called the cops to get her out, but the didn't arrive till 30 min. latter. So the cops didn't arrive on time to remove her. We are waiting for her to show up again.

She was homeless. The homeless tend to have all their possessions on them.

and... not because she's homeless, but because she's carrying a giant suitcase around ... there's also the possibility she'll stuff some books in there and scamper off with them.

libraries have enough trouble getting funding as it is (the ones here are pretty sparse).
