Also consider this... suppose your guests have spent several hours in a vehicle driving cross-country. I don't know about you, but long trips can be tiring, especially if the weather sucks. If I'm tired, I want to sleep...not be kept up half the night because of noise. How is it selfish to want quiet at night? No sleep and having to drive is *not* a good thing.
ITA. I don't think it's selfish of a hotel guest not to want to listen to a screaming baby.

So, his daughter is a "screamer". The real questions here are: How does he know that and why would be an issue if it's only them that are in the room? Yeah, I think I just went to a bad place.

Yeah the way he said it was really creepy to me.

On the other ideas, yes you are all right. People travel all day sometimes.

So who wins? The upset baby & worn our parents? Or the tired traveler who is near dead tired?

        Go.

Oh yeah & welcome to how shitty it is to be a hotel worker!
