Only thing I can say about the people who come into the library to look/borrow the books by Lesko is at least they aren't dumb enough to actually pay for the books. Granted, they probably don't have the scratch to buy the books.
Time! Time! Time is what turns kittens into cats.

Don't teach me a lesson; all I learn is that you are an asshole.

    I wish porn had subtitles.

One of my co-workers is always reading those make money books - I keep telling him that they are *not* the answer, all he is doing is making them rich. *sigh* he is a sweetheart of a guy, and only trying to get ahead to make life for he and his wife easier, but I wish he would take the money he spends on that stuff and put it into the company 401 or other retirement program

There was an article about him in the Washington Post a year or two back. (He lives in the DC Area.) For starters, he actually goes around in public all the time wearing that crazy outfit; it's not just for his commercials. I guess it makes him feel like a celebrity since about half the country would recognize him wearing that jacket.

Also, he freely admitted that his books were pretty much repackaged free government information or pulled directly out of government databases. He latched on to the fact that by law, government publications are not subject to copyright, so he can freely reproduce all that information without adding a thing to it other than his own cover.

Wtf, he's scarier then the Shamwow guy. ><

We get lines like this at work on occasion. Someone will set up an account for some seminar or book on how to rake in the cash or something and fools start calling it. We have a couple rather famous (infamous) ones that have been around for years. But most the time its just someone's harebrained scheme and it only ends up lasting a couple months before it collapses.

We had one that I hate with every fiber of my being. The guy ended up being a proven scam artist, all he does is move to another country once he gets caught and banned from doing business in one country.

Type of account I hate. We set it up for them unknowing, then they jerk their customers around and hide behind us when the flak starts pouring in. Then we're forced to cancel their account since we're not taking abuse for some asshole company that's jerking their customers around. -.-

God the tales I could tell about those.
