Coffee has been known to have opposite effects on those with ADD/ADHD ... it'll calm hyper folks down. Feeding coffee to an ADD diagnosed child is suppose to be an alternative way to calm them down as well, instead of feeding them medication

I tried that with my oldest son, but he hates coffee. Oh well, it still works to calm me down. I admit I have ADD.

On topic, I had a breast cancer scare last year, so my husband and I try to buy things that we see give some of the profit to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. No, I don't have breast cancer, but the scare was enough for me.

Have you thought about having him try some of the flavored coffees? If he happens to like chocolate, try some kind of mocha drink and see if he likes it. I know that's what started my love affair with Starbucks.

So true. We also do fundraising at our store. We have all this pink stuff for sale in which the proceeds go to fight breast cancer. We have these balloons, and everything says "Mothers" "Sisters" Daughters" "Wives"... Its all directed towards women. I know more women are affected, but shouldn't it be about awareness too? What about the men?

And about the lady getting mad because breast cancer gets all the attention...
Listen lady, regardless of which cancer gets the most funding, any discoveries made will be benificial for ALL cancers.

The very worst comment I ever got from a customer was during our Prostate cancer fund drive. After i had rung her up and given her the total,

Me: Would you like to round up your change for prostate cancer research?
SC: No! Those people need to take care of themselves!

Um ok. I finished up her transaction and then asked her if she wanted help out to her car with her (2 bags of) groceries.

SC: Yes!

I wanted soooo bad to tell her she should be able to take care of it herself!
