It amazes me that there is so much crawling and arse kissing done to customers who are so obviously insane and wrong.
Why does this happen? Surely, one customer cannot bring down a business if you tell them where to go. Usually a well placed insult does the trick and they never come back. Who cares if they call/write to corporate? What about employees sticking together and issuing a mass denial of what the customer said? How hard would that be, really?
If you can get a hold of the DVDs "Black Books", it's hilarious. It's about an Irishman, Bernard Black living in London and he has his own second hand book store. He drinks and smokes too much and is so rude to his idiot customers, it makes you scream with laughter.
He has a friend called Pam who has a "things" shop next door and an assistant called Manny who tries to do his best with Bernard raving all day.
