Fortunately I've been spared working drive-through but for people who I have I must inquire: Do people actually try to WALK through them from time to time?
    Guilty as charged.

Not only have I walked through the drive through on multiple occasions, with a varying rate of success, I have also bicycled through the drive throug...also with varying success.

But I do think my best non-traditional excursion through the drive through was when myself and three friends drove through one, but with no car. Basically, we walked, but positioned ourselves as we would be in a car, acted like we were in a car, with myself being the driver, steering an imaginary wheel, and the others with their arms out the "windows" or leaing over the "front seat" to yell their orders. I even leaned out the "driver's side window" to pay drive through cashier. It was hilarious. I have no idea how we kept straight faces.

    We got served.

      Grahhh

I worked at Tim Horton`s, fortunately my stints on drive through were few and far between. There were two instances that stuck out though.

      1. It was raining out, and I made some comment about a shower. Mind you, I probably should have known better, but it was still creepy when this like fifty year old guy looked at me, said ``I wouldn`t mind showering with you`and drove off, leaving me feeling dirtier than before.

      2. The second guy was unbelievable. Now this was a few years ago, but I seem to recall he had a pretty nice car. It was not, however, nice enough to warrant parking so far from the window that I had to hang my body half out of the window, damn near falling out in order to hand you your stuff. And for the record, he`d had to turn off his car, and lean over, half way out of his car to hand it over. I am not Mr. Fantastic, dude, seriously.

Ahhh, I`ve wanted to get that off my chest for ages now. Thank you, CS forum.
