I pay the bills, I have control over somebody else's account!

I don't know why people don't just add the other names to the account. *rolls eyes* My best friend's mom has internet. If they do something weird with the bill or something's wrong with the internet, I'm the one who calls (because she doesn't understand what's going wrong well enough to explain it to them). I don't pay the bills and I'm not the main number on the account. I can talk to them about the bills and set up service and stuff though because of my name being added. It makes everything much easier.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that her husband/boyfriend/sex buddy orders porn when she's not there and this makes her angry. She probably does pay the bill because its part of her deal for living there or she's a sugar momma and he's a kept man. She is threatened by the porn and wants him to stop watching it ...so she tries to put a pin on the account to control it.

By-the-way...ppv porn sucks. It's way to expensive!

The thing is, the account was not hers. It was her son's. She's upset because the account holder's ordering porn but that's not her problem even if she does pay the bills. Its not as though we actually keep record of who pays what on the account anyways.

I just want to bump this up just so I could post this gem of a customer. Long story short, he wanted the username to access his voicemails online, tech support could not do it cause his name was not on the account. So he is all pissed at me because I could not put his name on the account. he had to do it in person.
He then said the most stupidest line.

"People who pay the bills have power over the account" (The account is not under his name)

I didn't argue that point cause he is pathetic. I guess with that logic, its okay for a person to remove money from another person's account because "they deposit the money so they have power to withdraw?"

Thank god I didn't fight with him. I didn't have the energy.

Thank god I live alone so I wouldn't have to put up with people opening my bill, calling the company, complaining about crap that it is none of their business anyways.

Call center reps, especially cable company, anyone else feel this way?

The worse we get at the Flowers Sucky are women demanding to know who the Sig-O ordered flowers for after snooping through their credit card statement. We cannot give them that information ever.
