Re: blackout curtains... I've got blackout roller-blinds on several of my windows. There's a lamp-post directly opposite my (north-facing) bedroom window, and the sun shines straight into the (south-facing) living room during spring, autumn and part of the day in winter, due to low sun-angles.

One of the blinds is *white*. It qualifies as a blackout blind because it's opaque - but I got a white one so that it could double as a projection screen.

Yeah, me and my coworker have been doing that since the election. Its our blanket phrase whenever a caller has worked themselves into an illogical froth.

Oh who am I kidding. I’d totally wear a chainmail hooded sweat. To work no less. I mean you never know. Sure they’ve died down a bit in recent years but the Norse are a persistent lot and you never know what’ll get on the Skytrain at Broadway.

I so know a guy who can make a chainmail hoodie. And yes, the Norse all came down here. They hang out with the biking viking.
