Look at the Light

Today, I opened in a register to get the lines down. One customer asked me if I was open. I tapped my light so he would turn his attention to it. He still asked me if I was open and I told him I was.

I hate when I'm closing, because it'll be really slow. I'm the only register, and then there's also someone at the service desk.
I'll be standing there, doing NOTHING, and a customer will look at me, and then go up to the service desk to check out.
Uh..HELLO?! I do like doing my job every once and a while when I haven't be able to do anything for 20 minutes!
