Ok here goes. I work in a medical union, and at the time I am writing this there are some ongoing negotiations with the mistry of health in Greece about better employment terms. One of my duties is to talk to doctors that know diddly squat about all this.

Phonecall A:
-How may I help you?
-Yes, I want to learn about this new law that is in effect.
-ehmmm, there is no law in effect it's still under negotiations.
-But they said to me that they have already decided!
-hmmm, no they didn't, it's still inder negotiations.
-Oh, so there was nothing signed?
-Yes it is still under negotiations.
-So it is under negotiations.
-Yes.
-Why didn't you say so?
(after the end of the phonecall, me) FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!

Phonecall B:
-How may I help you?
-Yes, I would like you to inform me about the new plan they are making for doctors.
-Of course. Starting from...
-I heard that they.... (misinformation here)
-Emmm, as I was about to tell you...
-So what I said isn't right?
-No, I am afraid not.
-Oh, nothing then. (Before hanging up the phone, and without listening to what I had to say) The man here says that what we want will not happen!

If you're not the first person to tell them something, you're wrong. That's just the way it works.

You could probably just have an answering machine field all your calls.
