Yesterday, I was pulling a till and I heard a customer tell someone that I was open. I put the till and coupons back in and ended up taking the customer. Another customer put his items on the belt so I also ended up ringing up his items. One of my service desk coworkers put the springy thing across after the 2nd customer.
The other service desk coworker pulled the final express till that I was planning to close out later. That meant I had to wait to close the till I was planning to close in case we needed another till.
