Did they TRY to go out of their way to make it more confusing?

He's an Organic Chemist (who does a very good job of communicating to the layperson) who has a subsection called "Things I won't work with". This includes such beauties as chemicals which will burn the sand in your fire bucket and Triazadienyl Fluoride which is made in a reaction between two chemicals that are already on the list.
Also worth checking the comments for the "yeah, we did this and then.... <story about nearly blowing lab up>"

Now, I'm an old hat hearing from my teachers and my mom "yeah, this stuff is nothing, but still, don't mess with it." The link the you just gave scares the CRAP out of me!
My HS. chem teacher told the class one time about this one dumbass that almost blew up the entire chemical sciences building at UVic (the HS is near there). He made some kind of volitile cocktail, that is supposed to turn people's skin purple. (He'd planned to use the stuff on a toilet seat at a party.) He neglected to make note, however, that this stuff was so volitile, that, if this 2 l bucket of chemical dropped, everyone in the immediate vicinity could pretty much bend over and kiss their collective asses goodbye. And yes, I believe that he did get an immediate expulsion for his actions.

She is currently a chemistry major. She loves the school; I love the price!
I was a biology/pre-med major at your hockey rival, Merrimack.
That's ok, I don't care about hockey.
She is in the same BUILDING I was in, but most of the professors I had either died or retired since I finished school.
I know she must have Ed Jahngen for Organic, and probably Whitten for Physical and other upper level courses. I just looked at the faculty list, and there are a lot of fossils on there.
