One thing I don't understand, is why on The Simpsons Arby's treated like the worst place to eat. Like in one ep., a Lord of the Flies type ep., one of the twins (Terry? Sherry?) says, "I'm so hungry I can eat at Arbys" and the other kids are saying "ew."
That wasn't the only time. The one where Milhouse's parents split up and Kirk moved into a crappy apartment was another. A neighbor told Kirk there was a dead possum in the pool, and Kirk told him, "Throw it over the fence. Let Arby's deal with it."

Another one was the Halloween episode where Homer turned into a huge blob and started eating everything and everyone. "If I can keep down Arby's, I can keep down you!"

I searched around for a reason for them busting on Arby's frequently, but I can't find anything definite. One link said that it was nothing but silliness; another said that creator Matt Groening got horrible gas from eating there. So who knows?

I personally never liked Arby's I consider it pressed sweepings for meat.

(Or according to a friend of mine back in high school, it's baby. "Mmm Baby, the other other white meat"
      Code:
The cat's in the kettle at the Peking Moon,
The place where I eat every day at noon,
They can serve you Cat and you'd never know,
Once they wrap it up in dough, boys,
They fry it really crisp in dough.

There are way too many fast food franchises in the US, I'm jealous.
A lot of them are regional.

What really sucks is when a regional one will advertise on national cable television channels with something that looks really good. There is only one Sonic is SoCal, (Orange County, I think) and I can't get to it.

I wonder if Jack-In-The-Box does the same thing to the eastern half of the country.

They used to here... I miss Jack-in-the-box... Had one in my hometown, then moved here and there's nothin.

I went to San Diego on a trip, and the first thing I did when I got to Mission Beach was go to Jack-in-the-box.
