  • tis the season to be whiney

Seriously, I think some people are just looking for reasons to complain.

Some of my favorite complaints this week

SC- it's really f-ing cold here
me- I'm sorry, was the heater not working in your room
SC- no the heater worked fine, but this city is really cold.

seriously, what do you want me to do, get down on my knees and pray to God for him to raise the temperature of the sun or something

me- oh to get back on 80 going east is really easy, just go east to Redwood rd, turn right on Redwood and that takes you straight to the freeway.
SC- you mean I have to go that far out of my way to get to eastbound 80.

what the frack, it's half a frackin mile in the direction you want to be going anyway.

SC- I can't believe that I had to carry all my luggage up those stairs last night

ok, that's sometimes legit, but come on, you had a carry on and that's it.

SC- can I buy like beer or wine
me- yeah, the place next door sells drinks, they'll be open for another 45 minutes about .
SC- no, can I buy it from you.
me- no sorry, we don't have a liquor license so I can't sell it, nor can I buy it on your behalf.
SC- well that's stupid... I shouldn't have to go across the street to get something to drink.

OK, slow down their Mr. AA, if you need a drink so bad you can't walk across the street then I think it's time for you to think about quitting.

    I may ad more tonight.

    Isn't it always the season...?

Also, ah, complaints about the weather. I do not care, nor can I do anything. In fact, my fingers (or nuts, if you prefer to be lewd), are as icy as yours.

yes, but for some reason it seems a lot worse than normal.
