Lets me preface this story by saying that I work in a liquor store in California. Our store is essentially a convenience store that also sells hard liquor, wine, etc etc. Teenagers are allowed to come in to purchase things so long as they don't enter the liquor section.
Four teenagers come in, three of the girls are regulars who come in a lot. The fourth one is a girl I had never seen before. While the others are shopping, the fourth girl promptly sits on the floor blocking off an entire aisle.
Me: I am sorry, you can't just sit there
Sleeping Beauty: But I'm tired
Me: That doesn't matter you can't sit on the floor.
SB: (Points to where her friends are looking at movies) Well can I sit over there?
Me: No, there are benches outside where you can---
Sleeping Beauty gets up dismisses me with a wave of her hand and storms over to where her friends are. She promptly leans on one of her friends shoulder and closes her eyes. The friend shrugs her off and tells her not to do that. Sleeping Beauty's response "But I'm tired."
Everyone picks out what they want and head up to the counter. Sleeping Beauty gets there first. She puts her head down on the counter, spreads her arms out and essentially takes up all of the counter space.
Me: You need to get up, I need this space to work.
SB: But I am tired
Me: That doesn't matter, there are benches outside.
SB: Thanks for nothing
At this point one of her friends asks her why she is being so rude. Sleeping Beauty whines again that she's tired, prompting her friend to snap "Then go home and take a nap, stop trying to ruin everyone's day."
I couldn't have said it any better myself
