God, what is it with the DMV in Nevada?
Had a customer call today saying the DMV sent him documentation showing insurance information was not current. Brace for impact.
Me: Hi!
SC: You-Know-Who
Me: Thank you for calling blah-blah-blah. This is Wade. How may I help you?
SC: Yes, I received letter from DMV saying I no have insurance.
(sigh - his accent is so thick I can only make out like every third word. Where the Hell is C3PO when I need him?)
Me: Okay, did you receive a certified letter?
SC: Yes, certify letter.
Me: Okay, can I please have the article number at the top of the page?
(this is something like a case number)
SC: Uh.... uh.... uh.... where is case number?
Me: Near the top of the page.
SC: Uh.... uh.... uh.... okay, where on postcard?

Alright, I know not everyone is familiar with DMV procedures (and who would want to be?), but in the state of Nevada, the postcard and certified letters are two TOTALLY different things.
Me: You have a postcard?
SC: Yes, yes postcard.
Me: Did you read the instructions on the postcard?
SC: Yes, it says complete and return.

Okay, I don't want to seem intolerant towards the illiterate, but for fuck's sake, man, why are you bothering me when at this point it's solely between you and the DMV? Call me when you get the certified letter and your registration's been suspended.
God, people are just fucking dumb.
