In another thread, I had expressed my opinion against food-tampering, but admitted to enjoy seeing a SC get pwned. This story is exactly the epitomy of pwnage. I applaud your manager.

    .
I don't think there was any mention of food tampering?

This tale is great! What ownage....what stupidity....what audacity....

You know what...I really don't think that most people see dining and dashing as a serious offense. It's like they don't see eating out as a service and refusing to pay as an attempt at theft of services. They think it's just food and they have the right to not pay.

[edit] I just looked back and noticed that this was the first and only post by the OP...did we have a post-n-dash? *giggle* If so, I feel so violated. I must wash now.

I am sure the SC party loved the shiny bracelets and pictures they received as a souvenir of their evening.

        New Year's eve

Even if nothing else happened to them, these people who clearly want to be at some party spent New Year's Eve in jail.

I hope it was one of those expensive parties that you have to pay to go to, because they are not getting that party money back.

And yes, me too, ay follow-ups?

I apologize for the post-n-run. My "real job" is sometimes very demanding and I have been working an over-time contract- not on the computer much except to check email.

Sadly, I don't have much to report. The Court date is not until the 28th, and honestly- I'm not even sure what the "charges" are.

Unfortunately there were no handcuffs. They were not frog-marched out. Once the police arrived, they went rather willingly- they were cooperative.

I think at that point they realized things would only get worse-- we had her ID. Fleeing again, resisting arrest, or disorderly conduct wouldn't reflect well on them in and inevitable court appearance.

However, being from Chicago (or the People's Republic of Chicago as we call it) and the US- I'm surprised THEY haven't sued US.
