Sadly the counterfeit pens are about to be useless because people are starting to take fives and put them into hundreds and fifties. We had an abundance recently.
Those counterfeit pens are just worthless in general. I never use the one at work. I actually check the security devices in the bill itself.
Those who are loudest about their qualifications, tend to have the least merit to their claims.

Next up are the douchebags/possible drug dealers/on-second-thought-douchebags that walk around with a HUGE wad of money and procede to flip through it to see if they have a bill small enough to pay for the crap they're buying. The worst ones are the ones who actually comment about it. I have had people say "I bet you don't make THIS much money" or "Let's see if I have something SMALL enough, hur hur hur."

I usually just say in the snottiest tone I can....
No I don't but my hubby makes WAY more then that,I only work so I can have something to do.I then make it a point to show them my HUGE wedding ring diamond.Damn Pricks, who do they think they are? They then just shut their mouth the rest of the transation.

I'll often break a $20 when I have enough $1's/5's/10's to pay for my purchase, especially when the total is less than $10. I need $10's for my laundry card because the damn machine only takes $10's and the washer and dryer only take the cards! So stupid...

          Things I've noticed myself doing:

          1) Sometimes I have to set the bills I'm paying with down on the counter in order to juggle my wallet/purse---but I always try to pick the bills back up and place them in the cashier's hand!

          2) Rarely, I will leave the wallet locked up in the vehicle, and have cash in my pocket. Usually, I will have adequate "small change" for whatever I'm buying. About a week ago, I made a purchase that totaled $1.19 but I had only $1.13 and a $5 bill. I apologized as I used the $5 bill to pay.
Everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, it's not the end.

Guh when people toss money I just stand there, stare at it, stare at them and don't move.
I will not pick up the money you toss at me and I have all day to stand there and wait for you to behave like an adult.
If they also refuse to pick it up I will make a point of couting it just by looking at it, leaving it there, getting their change then setting it right beside my register and walking away. You want your change? Come get it.
I know it's petty and childish but I don't care.

Just because you use credit or debit cards does not mean everyone wants to or does. Not everyone wants to live off credit cards. I hate them and refuse to carry them. I don't want a debit card. I use cash. Strictly cash. That way I know how much I have and never spend what I can't afford to spend. For me, it's better that way, more logical that way and also an easy way to stay on and within a budget. There is nothing wrong with carrying credit or debit cards but there is also nothing wrong with carrying cash.
Amen, dearie. I don't like using my debit card until I absolutely HAVE to and I have nothing in my wallet.

              Same with me.

I swear people, get a debit or credit card! If you don't take plastic, I really don't to bother with you. Exceptions: vending machines (although more and more are now taking plastic), and Dicks Drive-In.

Oh yeah get everyone to use a card so the prices of everything go up even more.
You do know that each store PAYS each time a card is used right?

When I ran a hosting company I was charged 29 cents and 3.9% for each transaction made.
