Customers with a teenage mentality

I swear, I love how customers have this idea that they should get everything OTHER people are getting. "But ma'am, my friend has cable service for $50 and I am paying $100.00!"

Today I had one guy who stated his friend has cable service for 140 and he is paying 160. First of all, not everyone is going to have the same prices as you and frankly, get over yourself. I don't bitch about why people are being paid $20.00 per hour and I am not. Not everyone is the same.

I had one customer bitch about how her friends are being given american express
gift cards whenever they add phone and internet service as a sales tactic. She got all upset because we couldn't give her a gift card

Even I, as an employee, didn't get a gift card so why is she complaining?

These people should try Communism - the system that makes sure you have exactly the same stuf as your neighbour.

This is achieved by making sure neither of you has anything worth speaking of.
