There are no carts!!!!

What I especially hate are the people who just leave their carts next to their vehicles and the parking lot becomes an obstacle course of carts, especially if it's windy!

Two Thursdays ago when it was -30, I put my cart away and just carried my shit outside to save those poor cart guys from having to go outside. But you wouldn't believe how many people think "Oooh noooo...cart corral is 50 feet away. We'll just leave the cart here and it will take up this perfectly good parking spot."

On this side of the pond, the "deposit" is usually one or two pounds or euros - remembering that we have £2 and €2 coins in wide circulation. So the reward for putting the trolleys back is that much greater.

Of course since the quarter is your biggest universally-available coin...

That supervisor is no longer at our store. I admire her for that instance, but she was usually a bitch and guests had some complaints about her that I agreed with. Sadly, the woman that replaced her is even bitchier.

Couple weeks ago, and it was raining pretty hard..(Note We were parked in a handicap spot) We loaded up the back of the mini van, I rolled the cart up next to the main building, got in the van, Wife started to back up WHAMMO!!.. Someone had loaded their Vehicle and left their cart *BEHIND* our running van to the point you couldn't see it, AFTER I loaded the van and put our cart away. Maybe 30 seconds... Wife backed right into this on.
