I just had to stomp on an eBay buyer who won an item I was selling, then decided they didn't want it anymore.
Helloooo......eBay is NOT a retail store. You can't just change your mind on stuff.
Per the eBay rules: A bid or purchase on eBay is considered a contract and you’re obligated to purchase the item.
So I cancelled the transaction and sent a Second Chance Offer to the next highest bidder.
At least the buyer was honest and contacted me about it rather than simply not pay, but come on. It pissed me off to get that message. I consider that to be SC behavior. I sent them a polite but very firm note saying that I won't force them to pay, but that they won't be bidding on anything else I may sell in the future, because they are BLOCKED.
If only I could do that to customers in real life.
