So far, I haven't had anything to complain about since I got this journalist job. I work with some oddballs and I love them. I have met some interesting people from reporting and I have heard some unique stories.
Though I have one gripe, one major gripe as it is incredibly and I mean incredibly frustrating.
To future people I interview,
IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE ISSUE IS WHEN I ASK YOU ABOUT IT, DO NOT BE AFRAID TO SAY "I DON'T KNOW" TO BEGIN WITH! NOT AFTER I ASKED YOU ABOUT IT!
It is annoying that when I think I may get some comments that I need when I hear "Yeah I care about this issue," only to hear "Uhhhh, I don't know." So for the love of my sanity (What little I have of it), just be honest from the start. It saves a bit of time as I can be back in the office writing the damn article instead of hearing giggly idiots who can't tell the difference between a cat and a dog.
Other than that, fun job.
