This happened yesterday when the full sign was on. Today the gararge is reserved, but the open sign is on. One of the employees representing the company that installed the 2 gates in front of the Visitor Parking garage came that day to repalce a piece of equipment that was supposed to fix the problem with the gate counter which was not working properly. The settings that were used to control the software for the full sign were changed. Turns out the wiring inside the control box for the entrance gate is wired incorrectly

me: looks at the full sign; she will not be able to enter with the full sign on; so I raise the gate

"Yeah...I want to park & there are spaces available, but I cannot get into the garage"
me: "I'm sorry, but there is a reason why I opened the window. It is to tell people that the full sign is on because the garage is reserved, but I cannot do that when they are on their cell phone & won't roll down their window so I can speak to them."
customer who was on their cell phone: "Oh.. but there are open spaces in the garage."
me: "I'm sorry, I understand that, but I can only allow people on the event list to park"
customer who was on their cell phone: "Oh..ok" *walks back to her car & leaves*
