Hey OP, where is this theater, if you don't mind my asking? I didn't even think there were any drive-in movie theaters left.

    What state? thanks.

I live in Cali. There's a small handful of them here that haven't gone dark or are just gone yet.

There's only one left in the SF Bay Area and it's in San Jose, so I don't think I'll be going there.

Only once have I ever gotten a readmission ticket for the movies, and we didn't even miss any of the movie. They had to stop it for about 20 minutes because of a medical emergency (there was an elderly woman a few rows behind us, and from what I heard it sounded like she had a mini-stroke - by the time her friend got the manager she was OK, but they called an ambulance and stopped the movie; one of the people in the theater happened to be a doctor and came over to see if he could help) and the manager gave out tickets to everyone while we were waiting for the EMTs to take her out of the theater. Then they started the movie back up where we left off.

I've never been to a drive-in theater. There's only one in New Jersey and it's 2 hours away from me.

Yes, but not always as comfortable.

That was my first thought too.

              WTF? A drive-in?
