Though I'll admit I am guilty of asking "how tall are you?" to people who are taller than me really though, considering how few people I meet who are over 6'5", it's not THAT bad...right?

When you're asked it day in, day out constantly it gets more than slightly tiresome.

My contact with customers is 100% on the phone But despite my voice (baritone, a range which is as far as I know physically impossible for a woman to achieve) some people still assume that because when directory assistance began the operators were almost exclusively female, I am female too. Some even continue addressing me as "ma'am" AFTER I CORRECT THEM. I'm almost tempted to be evil and treat that as disrespectful behavior, which after a few warnings I can hang up to. Don't get me wrong, I have immense respect for women. I just hate being called one.
