    Isn't a footlong *always* two same six-inchers?

I always ask for lots of pickles on my sammiches. That's the only thing I'd want extra for. Most times I also get "everything except jalapenos, olives, and banana peppers." Banana peppers aren't really offensive, they just overpower everything. Tastes like I'm eating a banana pepper sandwich. Even without them though, I often can't taste the cheese, or the (extra) pickles. Maybe I'll start asking for "a little" sauce.

    ...I loves me my pickles.

And white bread is so boring Wheat FTW!

[QUOTE=Digitalpotato;510156]We do actually order food, but keep a few things in mind....we never know what to expect. Sometimes a group of mayonnaise monsters will come in and open a dimensional portal with the amount of Mayonnaise, Chipotle and Ranch Dressing. [QUOTE]

I about cried laughing at this. I was just using that quote at work last night

Digital Potato, your "Mayo Monster" reference reminded me of a quick picture I drew while at work! (back in September)

I believe Subway can order an extra inventory of toppings and they'll still run out.

There are som people who put SO MUCH shit on their sandwich I don't even understand how they can fold it up and close it. Extra meat, extra cheese, extra extra extra everything! And enough mayo to make Paris Hilton gain 10 lbs.

oh that happens a lot. Part of it is that tomatoes are an absolute bitch to get them to stay on the sandwich, they're so damn slimy they slide off all the time and take the pickle, cucumber, and olives with it.

, since they don't know we're out or the Herbs and Cheese is currently inedible due to being out of the oven or doughy
Or when they watch you take the bread out of the oven, ask for that kind, you tell them it just came out of the oven and it's too hot to handle. They insist. NO! I'm wearing plastic gloves and I am NOT touching 350 degree bread!

you shouldn't run out of product
I agree. Although we only have 5 subs that are at $5, I can't imagine how difficult it must be for some stores to keep stock, well, in stock. We get an order twice a week at our store, but I read in one of the threads here that the $5 promo is extremely popular and some stores are lined up out the door. I couldn't imagine being short staffed while this promo is going on.

Don't blame me, I only get the plain grilled chicken footlongs (with the white seasoned bread; whatever it's called). I just have to be very careful that they cook the chicken seperately from toasting the bread or else the chicken will be cold in the center; yuk!

Welcome to my Subway. We are shortstaffed and I am running into overtime every week. Our area supervisor looks at the payroll sheet when she drops in and bitches about it. I worked 12 hours yesterday and got to work 8 today

It's usually honey oat or, surprisingly, Parmesan Oregano. Those two tend to alternate days.

Although a lot of people (usually the morning regulars) know that Honey Oat is REALLY Good when it's day-old.
Really? I love the honey oat!

I try my best and make it easy for the employees and have them put on the shredded lettuce as the last topping.

I only like white bread, but if they are out (which they are A LOT! UGH) I'll just take regular wheat.
                  Same here.

                  I have simple tastes.

I like black olives on my sub, and usually I ask for "lots and lots of them." The one time I didn't ask for extra they put 6 tiny little rings on it. 6 tiny little rings! You wouldn't even be able to taste that few of them in a sandwich!! So I'm sorry if it bothers some employees that I ask for lots and lots of black olives.
