    Heart monitory story:
dang... I sure hope you got an apology from the store & the guard. yeesh

EWM: What do you mean, no?
    No means no
    No is always no
    When they say no,
it means a thousand times no

Couldn't help that one.. but seriously yeah that woman had issues. I agree... let her leave the baby and call the cops. She can explain to them why she forced her baby off on a stranger who said "no".

So, how did it end. Did you survive?

      (couldn't resist)
*snerks* Well... *looks at self* I think I mostly did.

Bansidhe should have seen her face one time when we were all sitting around in the breakroom and the cashier told that story. She wondered allowed what ever happened to that cute little baby... She was a little shocked to know her newest coworker WAS that baby. From the size of barely her forearm to over a foot taller then her. HA!

McGoddess I can see the test need...

I wouldn't have stopped her. I'd have just called the police and explained that you weren't a day care and that you told her that she either had to take the child or stay with it and she just walked out.

But then again I'm evil that way.
Same here. Maybe she'd learn.. oh, probably not. Poor, poor kid.

          Oh. My. Beep!

          Aethian,

I hope your mom went angry mother pit bull on that store and Security. Visually inspecting the stroller is one thing, but I don't know of many Security who have the authority to go-through / touch your stuff. I hope they felt horrible about that. That's right up-there with the subsitute teacher that pulled-out the student's insulin pump when the alarm went-off during class... He thought it was a cell phone and didn't give the kid a chance to explain.
