It is so much fun dealing with a whiny female adult
She pulls up to the window & her story changes from one event to a different reason why she wanted to park.
whiny female customer: wfc
me: me
wfc: "I'm here for the banguet"
me: "Banquet? Which dept. is having the banquet?"
wfc: "The Scholars Academy. It is the Scholars Academy banquet"
*I would think that the Scholars Academy would reserve spots for a banquet, but there is no reservation for any banquet or for anyone going to the Scholars Academy on the event list. So I give the whiny female customer the bad news.*
me: "I'm sorry, but the garage is reserved today. Every parking spot is already reserved & already paid for, & I do not see a reservation for any banquet or for anyone going to the Scholars Academy. I'm sorry, but I do not have any other parking spots for anyone else, & so I cannot allow anyone to park in the garage."
wfc: "WHY????????? *in a whiny, irritated voice* This is the 2nd time the lot has been reserved & I could not park. I'm just here to fill out paperwork to enroll in the program"
*Hmm....ok, do you know how many people I deal with on a daily basis? Multiply that by the 5 & then by the # of weeks in a month & then by the # of months in a year. Do you think I keep track of the # of people I turn away? Nope, & first you were going to the Scholars Academy banquet, which there is no reservation for & no one else has arrived, & now you are here to fill out paperwork for the Scholars Academy. Nice try, but you still cannot park in the garage*
me: "I'm sorry, I understand you are frustrated *& whiny & irritated*, but I have to follow department guidelines. It's not my call to make"
She rolls her eyes & backs up
