So the student worker just got a call, and my being the nosey quazi helpful person that I am had half a ear on the conversation, I then focused heavily on the conversation when the student worker started using the "It's not my fault, don't be pissed at me!" tone.
When someone is assigned to a course, be it teaching or um... studenting.. .... attending? I dunno, they are assigned a username and password for our learning management system. The problem is that she hasn't been affiliated with the college for 24 years.
Somehow this lady was assigned to something, the Database guys are looking into it now, and was shipped out a letter.
The student worker said in her position, she'd laugh it off and call in to let us know something weird happened.
I'd be a little concerned about what was going on and that I wasn't going to get billed for something.
She WAS PISSED, and DEMANDED that someone let her know what was going on IMMEDIATELY.
