I still can't believe I got away with this, but in high school band my senior year I was a section leader and I told the guys in my section that they had two choices, you pull them up or I pull them down... I only had to depants one of them once before they all got the hint and wore their pants properly after that

I actually had a kid try to sag his swimtrunks during lessons. (And yes, he was wearing boxers underneath the swimsuit) He'd "swim" two feet and have to pull the trunks back up. He then started to complain that he was slower then everyone else <.< I told him that if he was ready to stop looking like a dork, he could pull his trunks up, tie them, and swim normally like everyone else. He didn't like that and dropped the camp

Yeah, this is another one of those fashion things that just screams "idiot" to everyone around, but that doesn't stop people from doing it. At least no one wears upside down and backwards visors anymore.

The black whatever-it's-called is a really popular hairstyle for college-age kids in my area. I see it so often on all types of guys, so I'd never have associated it with 'gangsta'. Maybe it's just that I live in a suburb of NYC?
