That customer sounds like a real annoyance, and with her son getting in on it too, good grief! Your manager should tell her she's not welcome anymore.
We have a really great Subway here, they load the toppings onto the bread so you feel like you get your money's worth. The other two in the area are so skimpy on the toppings. We get Subway sandwiches quite often. There have only been two times I've been upset. I love black olives on my sandwich, lots and lots of black olives and one time they were out.
I didn't throw a temper tantrum though or anything like that.
Was just...disappointed is all. But not that big of a deal.
The other time I was upset was when we got there at 9:55 and she said she was closed (she was almost finished ringing up a guy with his sandwich). The sign on the door said they closed at 10:00. I wanted to argue with her that it wasn't 10:00 yet, but I am not a confrontational person so we just left but really...if you're open until 10:00 then you shouldn't try to close early when you have a paying customer in front of you.
