Just don't knock 'y'all'. I will continue using y'all until I come across a better second person plural for the English language.
If used correctly, there is absolutely nothing wrong with using "y'all".

Don't wanna be an American IDIOT! ......Glad to hear that SC got banned from the store.
Don't want to be a CANADIAN IDIOT!

Yay local radio stations for playing Wierd Al at 3 in the morning during my High School years.

Well, except in Pittsburgh. Using "y'all" sometimes gets you some strange looks. Around here, we say "yinz," as in "you ones"

Really? I've been to Pit a few times, and all I ever hear is "Youn's", it's not nearly as flowing or articulate as you make it sound.

            Laught

I could not help laughting in his face if he tried that with me.

            Where to?

I have a Canadian Passport, a British Birth Certificate, and both parents are Jamaican.

I would also point out that if that was a real threat that I can do likewise and start calling the IRS, local police on outstanding tickets, etc.

Besides, no matter what he thinks most people are not scared to be sent to Canada ... lower crime rate in most places, healther real-estate and banking and a wider social net does not put Canada in the top 100 countries (top 200?) people want to avoid being sent to.

Hehe we have "yunz" as well. Both can be used interchangeably

Seriously though, I've been to the "great parking lot to the north" a few times. Even as an "ignorant Amurikin," everyone was polite to me. Probably because I didn't remind them that the local sandwich shop has more subs than their military No really, it's because I didn't act like an asshole

Well, yeah, but y'all understand that that will never be grammatically correct now, will it? Hmmmm?

My name is Joe, and I am Canadian! (Classic Canadian commercial)

I must admit that I do end sentences with "eh" on occasion. And I do pronounce it "zed", not "zee". Other than that, I can think of no other Canadian-isms that I might use.

Other than being polite, that is. Had a few tourists comment about how polite people are "up here".
Thanks for posting that link, although now you have me feeling really homesick

Well, we all can't be. I mean, we have things like "Yinz take da streecar dahntahn t' Libertah for chipchopped 'am 'n' 'at? Seriously though, Pittsburghese came about from the blending of various accents over the years. And no, I don't talk like that

Had a stepfather who used 'yinz.' My favorite was always 'Outten the lights' for 'Turn the lights off.'

How's the process going, anyway? I've got a Canadian friend in Florida who's married to a legal citizen, but her citizenship paperwork has been jammed up for almost three years now. It's farking ridicuous.

                        Sorry about the douche.

I should hope you don't actually talk like that! Is that supposed to be English?

You know, I have an easier time understanding Scots-Gaelic than that. And all I know is to ask your name, how you are, what's the weather, and....kiss my ass.

I thought that "you'ns" or "yunz" was "y'all" plus three... (thanks to Jeff Foxworthy).

                              It's all right, we know.

The Canadian Navy has one (semi-)functional submarine.

Until recently, the West Edmonton Mall had two.

We could have just borrowed one...
