Just how far are these kids allowed to go before it becomes sexual harassment? If your boss has a problem with you stating that to a library patron, then your boss is part of the problem. I'm sorry but this is where it starts, it shouldn't be allowed to continue.

cos im thnking... these kids have library cards... with their parents information in the system as well yes?

it would serve them right to ... have a letter sent to the parent via registered mail regarding junior's behavior - including chat transcripts. (i said registered cos then the kid cant touch it before mommy or daddy does)

Hmm. If the kid just wanted a picture of a vigina, we can give that, because that is research (but Oh God, how to find one that won't get the Feds on us for corrupting a minor?). The kid went furthur so I can give him a speil on how we don't answer questions like that and disconnect.

Also, these kids don't even bother to give any correct info. They are chatting with us from school, though. I think our point person emails/mails the school about their kids behavoir.

Pulling one out of a medical text should be safe. Might be a good one to ask the boss about in case you get a legitimate request.
