I really, truly, do not want to be one of "those people". And had I just bought one pair of shoes, I probably wouldn't have blinked at having the price refunded. But I bought three. That's a lot of money.

The good publicity this company has gotten fromme, telling you all, and telling others, has far outweighed the loss. So now I feel pretty good about it.

Many moons ago, long before I took over the board, we had a rash of "Was I an SC?" posts.

I put one of my own up with a poll about a genuine situation where I just shrugged off the way a guy at a Burger King had added lettuce despite me specifying not to do so. I just binned the lettuce and got on with my life.

Not one of the poll options was 'yes' and approximately a third of respondants wanted to bear my children.
