My check?! My CHECK! Where oh... who is that?

GAH! I hate first of the month, middle of the month, and every Wednesday now. *twitches*

First it was first of the month because of social security...then middle of the month for social security. It seemed my first route was first of the month, second route was middle of the month but now I have them EVERY Wednesday...

So Wednesday morning comes and the managers call all of us carriers together to let us know that a truck was late and that we did NOT get the Wednesday social security checks like we were supposed to. Okay shite happens right?

So I let a few people who ask know that the truck was late and that they would get it tomorrow. A couple grumblings but nothing too bad. Then I get this one woman just yeling off every racial slur, every put down she could think of, and I could still hear her three houses away when I just walked away.

Finally Thursday comes around and I find out I'm going to have a shadow with me. Not to bad cause he's a normally cool supervisor, plus I deliver his home mail, his Grandma's mail, Brother's mail, Aunt's mail, MOM's mail, cousins mail, ect... And his Grandma likes me and askes about her 'Baby Boy' *snickers*.

So I get to this girls place and she's already started in on me about how I better have her check and....and...who is that FINE brother walking behind me? She SAUNTERS over to him and turns on the HEAVY flirting while he is punching number into a device they have for counting stops and mail at each stops and if a house didn't get mail and finally he looks at her very deadpanned.

Boss: "Aethian was this the *one* who was calling you everything in the book yesterday?"
Me: "Yea Boss."
Boss: *looking the girl over quickly* "Huh." *steps around her and heads over to where I'm almost at the next house* "Attitude like that always makes women look so ugly."

Girl: *looks like she wanted to cry, spit fire, scream*
Other girl at next house: "YO HE GOT YOU!" *cackles*
