So, on a Thursday morning the main magazine to get out on the shelves is the weekly ZAutoTrader. A must-read for anyone buying a used car.
We do a lot of these to 2nd hand dealers and so on first thing so they can spot any bargains before the average car buyer comes along.
I should add that we open up at 6am and put magazines out about half seven once we have finished our delivery rounds.
About 10am a chap comes in with a copy of the magazine.
SC: Self explanatory
Me: Guess who!
SC: Morning, I bought this auto trader first thing today and i must have been too early because it's last weeks copy.
Me: Oh.....
SC: It was that old fella who served me. I'll just swap it for the right one shall I?
Me: You definitely bought it here?
SC: Thats what i said.
Me: You definitely bought it here This Morning?
SC: I said so didn't I?
Me: I'm sorry, there must be some sort of mistake.
SC: You calling me a F***ing liar?
Me: Yes. I sold out of last weeks copy last Monday.
He left rather fast!
