Where I work, there's a customer that'll call me by name to get me out of the cash room and do his lottery. He did this last night even though my service desk coworker was there and she could've done it. I asked her if she could take over since I was way behind on closing and she agreed. A little later, when she signed for the banking I did, she mentioned that the lottery customer was annoying and that I didn't have to listen to him.
My dad told me that I should take the customer calling me over to do his lottery as a compliment. He told me that the customer is always right and I should relax and let things roll off my back.
