While I was eating I observed another employee ( waitress ) spooning the salsa in to a dish and she licked her hand and even went as far as to eat over waiting food. I'm sorry but this is disgusting to myself and the people I was with.

Do you think you could elaborate on this a bit more? Was she flat out lying, or did she really observe this? If it really happened, then hopefully there are more details not provided such as maybe this person was on break and enjoying some of the store's food.

I'm not 100% what "Booty shorts" are. I assume they are a shorter and likely more attractive version of my Nice Butt Jeans(tm). =p

But yeah, she was looking for things to bitch about from the get go. You couldn't have won that one any way honestly. A little awe inspiring actually. How sad does your life have to be to sit in a restaurant peering around for any sort of perceived flaw that you can exaggerate and rant about later?

I mean, if I'm in a restaurant I'm usually, well, you know, eating and taking to whomever I'm with. But I guess I'm a freak. -.-

It sounds like their hubbies dragged them to the "Owl Restaurant" and that they're just VERY bitter about that. You could have given them 100% free food and you still would have gotten a shite review. They were upset that the husband's picked *that place* and furious that the mens' eyes were on YOU and not them.

Personally... I don't like booty shorts much either but... when it comes to "that place" (if it's the one I'm thinking of)... One of my co-workers re-enlisted and picked it for his party. One of the female chiefs we didn't like was offended and refused to go, which of course didn't bother us one bit. And I liked the fact that I could handle hot sauces that some of the other guys couldn't. (muahahahah)

You're assuming the wives could wear booty shorts - not all women can. it's also very likely that they'd have bitched no matter what Only Human wore.

I'll be honest...not all military wives are like this, but (at least in the navy) there are some who feel very threatened by the presence of other females.

One woman (S) got orders to my first ship after her husband left the ship, so she actually got to see both sides of it... being a wife, and then working there. She told us, back when they were first putting women on the ship, they had meetings for the spouses and... a lot of the wives were *furious*. I can't remember if S said the wives referred to us female sailors as whores, but... yes, it was said that we would be stealing their husbands on deployment.

Oh and um... Yes, this was in Hawaii. So it could very well be some of the same wives that Only Human had to deal with. O_o oy!
